About this list
A list of papers,
with notes.
This is a small weekly list of papers related to topological photovoltaic response,
quantum geometry, symmetry, and band topology.
01
Topics
Papers are selected for relevance to the topics below.
- Shift, injection, impurity-assisted, and ballistic photocurrent
- Quantum metric, Berry curvature, and nonlinear response
- Noncentrosymmetric topological materials
- Hopf, Hopf-Euler, and crystalline Hopf phases
- Delicate, unstable, and multigap invariants
- Homotopy, characteristic classes, and mathematical condensed matter
02
Evidence labels
A topological material receives a visible noncentrosymmetric highlight only when
broken bulk inversion symmetry is supported by the supplied evidence. Surface or
interface inversion breaking is recorded separately.
Papers connecting Hopf or delicate invariants to optical response, shift current,
or quantum geometry are marked when that connection is explicit.
03
Mechanisms stay distinct
The classifier does not use “shift current” as a synonym for the full bulk
photovoltaic effect. Intrinsic shift, injection, ballistic, impurity-assisted,
excitation, and recombination contributions are labeled separately whenever the
abstract supports that distinction.
04
What is automated
Collection, date filtering, deduplication, and initial ranking are automated.
The published notes are based on the supplied abstract and source metadata.

What the summaries mean
Summaries paraphrase source abstracts and selected accessible text. They are not
peer review, endorsement, or a substitute for reading the paper. When evidence is
incomplete, the feed should say so rather than infer a symmetry, invariant, or mechanism.
“Relevance to my research” is an editorial bridge: it identifies a concrete mechanism,
material, mathematical tool, benchmark, or open question that could inform my work.
